Anthony was born in 1930 in Jersey City. After graduating in 1949, he volunteered to serve in the US Army.

He was in the frontline during the Korean War from 1949-1952.At the age of 24, Anthony met his wife Anna, who is a Port Richmond native.

They married in 1956 and raised their four children, Anthony, Bernadette, Joseph and Marianne in Port Richmond. Presently their family has grown to eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Anthony worked at Western Electric after returning home from the war. Anthony belongs to the Cichon Post Veterans Organization. Anthony is a history lover and antique collector who enjoys playing lotto and coin collecting. He also enjoys watching Jeopardy and The New York Yankees.
