Staten Island is lucky to have more waterfront area then any other borough, however access to that resource is limited especially in the underserved areas of the North Shore. The Port Richmond shoreline used to be alive with a bustling waterfront and even a ferry service to Bayonne. Today the north-most section of Port Richmond Ave is largely abandoned and neglected. We would like to see this area improved to allow for community access and enjoyment of this waterfront once again.
